This Week

Good Monday Morning!  This week the kiddos will be learning dances with Dance Dude all week.  So they will not be attending Fitness, Music, and Library in the normal rotation.  We will be going to Library tomorrow (Tuesday) so they will have the opportunity to return and check out books then.  This Wednesday is Picture Day so be sure to turn in forms that day if you are interested in purchasing class or individual pictures.  Friday evening will be the Dance Dude Family Dance Party.  Also on Friday, we will have our Cheetah Cheers Assembly at 9:30 along with early release at 2:00.  If you have any questions, let me know! 🙂

Room 3 Update

Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend and didn’t let “springing ahead” cause too much grief! 🙂

The students wrapped up the Social Studies unit about where in the world our community is.  We are well under way with our Native American research projects.  The students will continue to research as well as compose an informational paragraph and powerpoint slide about their topic.  We took a look at polygons in math and we will start our perimeter and area section next.  Our Animal Readers Workshop will wrap up in the next two weeks or so and the students will be creating a few culminating response papers.

Lauren is our V.I.P. this week and next week, we will get to learn more about Sydney! 🙂

If you have any questions, let me know!

*This Friday is early release @ 2:00.

*Picture Day is next Wednesday, March 23rd

A little info!

Your kiddos are bringing home a couple of things today.  The first is a little poem encouraging the students to bring in a Dr. Seuss book tomorrow.  We are going to be getting together with our Little Buddies and celebrating Dr. Seuss day!  Plan to send in a Dr. Seuss book so they can read and share with their  buddy! The second is a packet about their Sound Project.  If you have any questions about it, let me know!  I also included the Presentation Rubric so that you are able to see what the students will be graded on for their project.  Thanks for all your support! 🙂
